Matt Moschella is the co-founder and chef behind Corto in Jersey City, the celebrated restaurant known for handmade pasta, ingredient-driven Italian cooking, and a hospitality-first approach. Since opening in 2018, Corto has earned a devoted following for its warm, thoughtful service and deeply personal food.
In 2024, Matt expanded that vision with The Roxy in Jersey City, a modern American restaurant and bar in Bergen-Lafayette. Together, Corto and The Roxy reflect his commitment to creating distinctive neighborhood restaurants—places defined by excellent food, genuine hospitality, and a strong sense of community.
His work has been recognized by guests, local press, and the restaurant community alike, establishing Corto and The Roxy as standout dining destinations in Jersey City.
